For its growing Battery Monitoring (BMS) Group, Analog Devices is seeking a Validation Engineer for our Munich, Germany location. This group designs ICs to supervise High Voltage Battery Stacks in (Hybrid) Electrical Vehicles and thus drives the world towards a greener future!

 

As Validation Engineer you will:

    • Be responsible for the post silicon validation of Integrated Circuits
    • Develop Requirement based Validation Plan and Strategy together with the Design Team
    • Develop Laboratory Hardware Setups to Evaluate Integrated Circuits
    • Program automated Validation Test Cases and Execute them
    • Prepare Validation Reports
    • Review Validation Results with Design and Applications Team
    • Support Silicon Debug

 

 You are well suited for the role of a Validation Engineer if you

 

  • Hold a B.Eng./M.Eng Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Are experienced with laboratory precision measurement instruments like Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, …
  • Have knowledge of software tools such as LabVIEW, Matlab, Python or C/C++ to control measurement Instrumentation
  • Are experienced in PCB design and layout using industry standard tools would be of benefit in this role
    • Have a solid work ethic and enthusiastic approach to new learnings along with an inquisitive mind
    • Like to work in a team of peers towards a common goal
    • Have good English communication skills
