Major Responsibilities:

• Preparation of technical documentation for transfer and progressive tools (planning and development, design, engineering, detailing, parts lists, processing documents, documentation)
• Participation in internal rationalization and improvement measures
• Execution of internal projects
• Project-specific cooperation in new developments and prototypes
• Creation of the sequence of operations with the definition of the individual work steps
• Support and management of internal and external tool projects
• Detection of tool-related weaknesses and malfunctions and preparation of the possible solutions
• Jointly responsible for the deadlines of the design engineering and the tests
• Management of the designers on day to day tasks

Minor Responsibilities:

• Maintaining ISO IATF 16949 documents in the design & engineering area
• Understanding and implementing a company’s environmental policy
• Other tasks on request

Requirements:

• Master degree in mechanical engineering
• At least five years' working experiences in MNC
• Familiar with metal forming/ stamping
• Knowledge with 2D / 3D CAD systems, especially UGS Solid Edge or similar software
• Knowledge with MS Office and KAIZEN TSM
• Economic thinking and action
• Teamwork, good communication skills, exact and efficient style of working
• Ability to lead team and groups
• Creativity, active thinking
• Resilience and flexibility
• Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus
