Job Title: Design Technology Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Design Technology Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through practical, project-based learning, guiding them from concept to creation in a safe and dynamic workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Design Technology, following the school's curriculum standards.
Instruct students in the safe and proficient use of a wide range of tools, machinery, and software, including but not limited to CAD, 3D modeling, laser cutters, and 3D printers.
Foster a classroom culture that emphasizes the design process: research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and refinement.
Manage and maintain a well-organized, safe, and resourceful workshop/studio.
Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work, encouraging growth and mastery of skills.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.
Mandatory Requirements:
A valid and recognized teaching certification/license preferred(e.g., PGCE, state license).
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Design Technology, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in Design Technology.
Demonstrable expertise in both traditional workshop practices (e.g., woodworking, metalworking) and digital fabrication.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse group of learners.
