Job Responsibilities
Be responsible for teaching courses of the Design and Technology (DT) subject and conducting cooperative teaching. Design and deliver lessons covering areas like product design, engineering principles, digital fabrication (e.g., 3D printing, laser cutting), and technical skills (e.g., woodworking, electronics).
Organize quiz activities in different stages according to the situation during the teaching period (e.g., project-based assessments, skill competency tests) and grade the works/papers to test the effectiveness of students’ receiving tutoring. Focus on evaluating design thinking, technical execution, and problem-solving abilities.
Participate in the teaching and research exchanges of the subject group, conduct centralized lesson preparation, and provide new ideas and methods for teaching research. Specifically, contribute to developing DT curriculum aligned with frameworks like IB MYP/DP Design Cycle, or standards of A-level/DSE.
Teach students in accordance with their aptitudes based on their situations, deliver personalized course lectures for DT (e.g., supporting students in independent design projects, mentoring technical skill development), and explore and organize various teaching methods (e.g., workshop-based learning, industry expert guest lectures) for flexible teaching.
Assist in the corresponding project promotion or enrollment work during the enrollment season. Highlight DT program features (e.g., makerspace facilities, student design achievements) to attract prospective families.
Complete other tasks arranged by the school.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Design and Technology, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a closely related technical/design field; Master's degree or above, or overseas education experience (especially in international DT education systems) is preferred.
Possess a teaching qualification certificate; those with an IB DT training certificate (e.g., Category 1-3 for IB MYP/DP Design) are highly preferred. Certifications in technical fields (e.g., CNC operation, electronics certification) are a plus.
Have more than 2 years of teaching experience in Design and Technology in an international school. Experience with IB MYP/DP, A-level Design & Technology, or DSE Technology-related subjects is a strong advantage.
Be familiar with the international curriculum system; those familiar with IB MYP/DP Design Cycle, A-level Design & Technology assessment criteria, or DSE Technology frameworks are preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of integrating digital tools (e.g., CAD software, Arduino programming) and hands-on fabrication in teaching.
Prior work experience in an international school is preferred. Practical skills in DT disciplines (e.g., prototyping, using workshop tools) and a portfolio of student design projects are highly valued.
