The Bulgarian Engineers team who is part of Siemens Bulgaria Engineering Center of ExCellence (GECC) is looking for a new member to join them in one of their offices across Bulgaria (Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse), or remotely from a home office anywhere across the country. The portfolio of Engineering Center of ExCellence covers the full cycle of building technologies including PLC programming; graphic visualization and control through management station; most innovative systems for room automation; fire notification; access control etc. We are currently looking for a new team member to join us in one of our offices across Bulgaria (Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse), or remotely from a home office anywhere across the country. Design engineer for application configuration. What would be your core tasks? Your main responsibilities will be to make it possible to order SIMOGEAR (geared motors) special technology using the standard process with an order code (MLFB option), to build up system knowledge for the respective option, to define and describe features for the configuration and to specify the technical documentation and the assembly parts lists for the special components. Your goal will be to improve the data quality, reduces the risk of disruptions and complaints by considering all additional assembly effort, reduce the throughput time for repetitive orders and the processing effort. This lays the basis for further digitization measures. Your tasks will be with focus on comprises 2 areas: introduction of order codes for current/ongoing orders and introduction of codes for existing FERTs (=product with a fixed parts list + technical features). Your responsibilities will include interpretation and preparation of the technical documents consisting of assembly parts lists, technical and electrical (calculation sheet + winding sheets) features for the configuration, dimensional drawings, circuit diagrams. What should you bring with you? University degree in Automation, Mechatronic, Drives or general mechanical engineering Practical experience on similar position: 0-3+ years Proficient in English Good knowledge of German Knowledge of technical basics, electrical and mechanical systems, especially drive technology Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical order specifications Profound knowledge in the interpretation of technical drawings Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Office and Team Center. SAP will be considered as an advantage Knowledge of Siemens NX is desirable A certain understanding of product architecture in configuration is desirable Teammate with open communication style Why should you join us?
