Job Description

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks.
 

Come and join us for a summer Internship. Intel is seeking highly motivated students to join the Switch and Fabric Group (XFG) in our Network and Edge Computing Group  (NEX) as a summer Intern. We're a vibrant team which helps drive Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Intel® Tofino™ as the switching platform of choice and for the Cloud Data Center Enterprise and Telco network deployments.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Developing scripts for Design for Test Solutions.
  • Working with Design DV Leads to provide solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Validating RTL from the microarchitecture definition.
  • Responsible for the coverage closure of the blocks.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 6 months experience in any of the following:
    • C or any other object oriented programming language such as Java, Python
    • Scripting language such as shell script Perl, etc.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6 months of experience in:
    • System Verilog
    • Design verification
    • Scan/MBIST
    • Synthesis/Static timing analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00
