岗位职责:

Product Design:

1. Based on FCO trend information, develops commercial styles for his/her dedicated classifications.

Provides the SDS (sample development sheets) aligned with the Critical Path deadlines.

2. Works with the Buying Team & Suppliers on achieving best production feasibility and cost effectiveness in the product development process.

3. Works closely with suppliers for sample development and takes part in supplier visits.

4. Together with the Buying team & Technician, reviews the development samples to ensure that designs have been properly interpreted.

Range/Wardrobe design:

1. Under FCO guidance does trend research – Fairs, WGSN, Internet, magazines etc. for his/her dedicated classifications.

2. Based on Buying information analyzes the performance of his/her dedicated classification (best sellers and slow mover debriefings).

3. Under FCO guidance suggests new/updated designs, styles, shapes, fabrics, colors, etc. to develop his/her dedicated classifications.

4. Together with the Buying team makes regular domestic nominated competition checks and sample buying to detect areas of opportunity for his/her dedicated classifications.

任职资格:

EDUCATION (Level and major):

Bachelor degree or above

EXPERIENCE (years, functional area, breadth and depth of experience):

At least 2 years working experience in a design position

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. Creative, Adaptable, dynamic with good communication skill, good team player

2. Familiar with standard computerized design and collection building tools

3. Strong Fashion sense and eye for details; understanding of the China consumer

4. Able to convert paper designs designs & samples into commercial products

5. Will be required to travel occasionally.

LANGUAGE (language, level of proficiency) :

Fluent in Mandarin (English: min. level moderate)

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE APPLICATION:

Communication skills to explain the range trends to the Buying team and to establish strong supplier relationships when it comes to product development
