Plan and Define
- Assess current state of DevOps maturity, identify areas of gap and recommend solutions
- Define the Organization DevOps Strategy in alignment with the Global strategy
- Define the DevOps journey / roadmap with clear milestones
- Define the critical success factors for the implementation and further adoption of DevOps
- Manage partners and consultants to drive the implementation across process and tools
- Agree and plan adoption of changes to application Portfolio management, Software development lifecycle , Application Lifecycle Management, IT operations, organizational structure and platforms/tools
Build & Run
- Ownership of the DevOps toolchain and continuious development and maintenance
- Lead implementation in strong collaboration with Development teams and external verndor’s
- Define roles and responsibilities across teams and adopting the structure that brings the ops and development teams closer together
- Continues coaching across various levels of IT organization to ensure DevOps adoption
Technology Manangement
- Follow the latest trends & best practice and derive possible use cases
- Drive setup of PoC for new technology in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams
Other Tasks
- Collaboration in Global Teams (DevOps Swarm teams)
- Bring fresh ideas to the table, learn, and adapt to new technologies and changing situations quickly
- Know-How transfer within the own team and and close collaboration with infrastructure architects and development leads
