Job Description

Platform Security Engineering (PSE) is a small, high-output team in the Software and Advanced Technology Group. Our team invents next-generation AI for Security solutions to detect cyber threats using Intel CPU features and machine learning techniques http://www.intel.com/tdt. Solutions developed by our team have been deployed in over a billion systems.
As our DevOps/Build Engineer, you will be building out and growing our development and release environment. Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure both in the lab and in AWS environments. Identify performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools. Evaluate and manage application and environment security. Cross-train with other team members.

The ideal candidate will successfully demonstrate:
The ideal candidate will have solid Hands-On (coding) experience in modern, CI/CD practices/DevOps paradigms, systems engineering best practices and principles, and administration of modern/distributed SCM systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have willingness to work in fast paced environment with ever changing software requirements and with teams across multiple Geos.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree in computer science, computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, such as GitHub. Experience with build management tools - QuickBuild, Jenkins, Jcasc, and Jenkins pipelines. Environment management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet and SaltStack

  • 4+ years of experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Shell Scripts.

  • End-to-end understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile development, code quality, release engineering.

  • 3+ years of Linux server knowledge. Basic knowledge of Windows servers.

  • Background in infrastructure automation management, and infrastructure monitoring tools.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters' Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.

  • 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies, microservices, and Infrastructure.

  • 4+ years of experience with both Pre and Post Si environments.

  • 4+ years of experience with virtualized and containerized environments in a largescale environment (Dockers, Kubernetes).

  • 4+ years of experience in administration of modern/distributed SCM systems, such as GitHub.

  • 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure automation management and infrastructure monitoring tools.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$113,500.00-$170,120.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
