About the role: 

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to promote knowledge sharing and DevOps culture across the entire engineering department. You will be part of the team who is administrating vital tools for developers, helping manage whole CI/CD process, and moving these areas further to simplify application deployments and whole application lifecycle. Important part of DevOps team role is to cooperate with developers regarding possible issues and IT/infrastructure specialists as well to find solution.

Ideally, this person has some experience in a similar role (but we are able to train a junior, too!) and is experienced/interested in Linux with a knack for Windows as well. Requirements:

• A team player and a diplomat – Acting as a bridge between IT and development teams
• Innovative – You’ll need to be open, willing and able to learn new tools and platforms
• A pro-active person – Taking the initiative to try new things
• English speaker - Be able to cooperate with our DevOps colleague on daily basis
• Containerization – Kubernetes and Docker is our trend and is needed to support ongoing effort to migrate standard VM apps to Kubernetes
• Linux server operations – together with at least basic Windows server operations skills
• CI/CD - knowing good principles of CI/CD and helping development teams improve their pipelines
• Scripting – Knowledge of Bash and Powershell will come in handy
• Monitoring - good knowledge of famous couple Prometheus & Grafana and awareness of Elastic cloud

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of other tools/language we use – If you’ve used TeamCity, GitLab, Graylog, Redis, ArgoCD or Python before, you’ll have a distinct advantage in this role.
