Objective of job
The China Data team is responsible for discovering China Datalake and identifying business insights. We are enabling our internal customers by coming up data capabilities to further empower data-driven decision making in daily business. As a solid foundation, we are also keeping the Datalake, the Data Warehouses and all big data solutions running stable and intuitive to use.
Within this setup we are looking for a DataOps Specialist to
•Design, manage and steer operations of Data projects Infrastructure to perfrom analysis and identify root causes
•Make sure data quality of data platforms by building/using data quality check tools
•Have a constant communication with the business units, data scientists and project managers to set up best practices in data analytics & architecture locally including tracking of Hadoop ecosystem evolution and Azure cloud
•Be in charge of the Data Lake platform implementation & new feature introduction
•Build up and formulates, manages and monitors Operation processes, SLA/OLA while staying in close contact with project stakeholders (ensures transparency of costs, consumption and performance of IT services and solutions)
•Creation of service catalogue and service descriptions together with service owners
•Secures the operation including escalation management and ensures an end to end quality performance according to SLA/OLA
•Ensures that all service and response targets are understood and achieved with an efficient use of resources
•Documentations and Information management of the big data platform
