Are you IN for transforming the future?
We're looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join our team in Lisbon to work on an exciting projects and products for the world’s biggest Trucks and Buses manufacturer. We are part of DAIMLER.
Your responsibilities
- Build infrastructure as code for all the necessary architecture components
- Analise and define best practices for security and network of the infrastructure
- Maintain all jobs with improvements and bug fixes as needed
- Support on the maintenance of all tooling needed for the CI/CD pipelines
About you
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and love building new things from scratch.
- You are willing to constantly challenge yourself by learning new approaches and technologies and encourage a culture of mutual learning and collaboration.
Main requirements
- You are a visionary, you have a strong desire to not only execute but to contribute, encourage feedback loops and rapid changes, you value communication and interaction over processes and tools, you thrive in an environment of uncertainty and eager to create new business and services
- You have proven experience with tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- You have strong Linux know-how
- You have proven server operation and IT security knowledge
- You have proven knowledge of setting up networking infrastructure in the Cloud
- Knowledge on setting up monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
Nice to have
- Knowledge in scripting languages such as Python, Go, Ruby
- Some knowledge of serverless computing and kubernetes
- You were involved in setting up large scale batch processing jobs (e.g. Hadoop based clusters such as Apache Spark)
- You were involved in setting up stream processing jobs (Apache Kafka, Apache Storm or similar)
