As Development Engineer Contactor (m/f/d) you have following main responsibilities:

• Take over responsibility for the development and design of contactor solutions, including:
  Cost calculation, Project planning, Specification, Mechanical and thermal simulation, Mechanical parts design, Documentation, Transfer of design into production, Final test and quality assurance
• Work closely with our PCB, Handler and CK design team to optimize the interface between handler and tester (and DUT) in terms of mechanical, thermal and electrical integration
• Define and integrate new solutions in our contactors to optimize the overall test-cell performance
• Work closely with 3^rd party contactor suppliers and evaluate how their products fit into our test-cell.
• Analyze and define customer's technical and economical requirements.
• Support customer during test concept evaluation with solid Contactor know-how
• Communicate with internal and external customers (in terms of design, development, production and quality assurance).
• Defines, drives and develops new Contactor standards e.g. templates, tools, "cookbooks" or "handbooks" for process and standardization
