Job Overview
Develop and design advanced vehicle components and systems in the area of Instrument Clusters and Human Machine Interface (HMI). Apply theoretical principles and engineering techniques in designing a vehicle that is reliable, serviceable, energy efficient, competitive and uses the latest technology available in the industry. Area of focus is Instrument Clusters and Human Machine Interface (HMI).
Responsibilities - Interface with engineering personnel to determine the most effective and economic materials to be used in product parts. Interface with Test & Development personnel to analyze problems encountered in prototype development/testing.
- Interface with product regulation and compliance personnel to design vehicles that meet government regulations, restrictions and codes.
- Use programming and modeling techniques in conjunction with mathematical analysis.
- Research state-of-the-art developments in the vehicle industry and apply the latest advances.
- Apply statistical and engineering techniques in designing and testing.
- Provide creative, technically feasible solutions. Interface and coordinate with purchasing, vendors, BOM, manufacturing and other engineering personnel in the product development and testing phases.

- A Master's degree from an accredited college/university with 4+ years related experience OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and 6+ years of related experience OR an Associate's degree from an accredited school with 8+ years related experience OR a high school diploma/GED with 10+ years related experience required
- Degree focus in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred
- An attached resume is required
- Possession of a CDL or the ability to obtain CDL certification is required
