About the position
We are currently looking for talented development engineers for over-the-air (OTA) updates and system integration testing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the South Korean market. Applicants should be passionate about updating and testing with professional experience in automotive ECUs, infotainment features, connected services and vehicle testing.
To ensure the highest level of maturity for defined OTA releases prior to each customer rollout, the applicants for this position need to take on the following tasks
- prepare test vehicles with HW exchanges and SW updates of components and app environment
- coordinate test scope and timeline together with OTA team from HQ and other stakeholders
- steer and perform systematic static and dynamic tests during system integration testing
- pre-analyze, document and share technical issues from system integration testing to HQ
- evaluate maturity of OTA release and provide market release recommendation to stakeholders
- follow-up and support on open issues with given system and feature responsibles in the company
- improve the process by sharing feedback and improvement ideas with HQ and other markets
