About the position
We are currently looking for development engineers with customer orientation in telematics system integration for the validation and release of MBUX infotainment systems and connected services in Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the South Korean market. We are interested in telematics experts with professional experience in automotive ECUs, infotainment features, connected services and vehicle testing.
To ensure the highest level of maturity for our latest telematics releases prior to each customer release, the applicants for this position need to master the following tasks:
- prepare test vehicles with updates of components and app environment
- define test scope according to market needs and project maturity level
- perform systematic static and dynamic tests during telematics test drives
- coordinate test drives, vehicles, participants and regular wrap-up meetings
- pre-analyze, document and share technical issues from test drives to HQ
- reproduce and verify fixed issues in test drives with quality assurance team
- evaluate maturity of telematics release for the release recommendation
- develop our products by sharing market feedback and improvement ideas
- monitor market trends and technologies to maintain technical know-how
