Development Manager East Africa

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and reporting to the Development Director, the Development Manager East Africa is responsible for expanding the Accor managed and franchised hotel portfolio in East Africa

Responsibilities include:

• Prospecting opportunities for further expansion of Accor hotel portfolio in East Africa - new projects and conversion projects
• Respond to requests for proposals in a high quality manner
• Prepare pitches, presentations and case studies representing Accor brands
• Negotiate commercial terms of hotel management / franchise agreements with owners
• Maintain strong business relations with key players in East Africa – hotel owners / developers, investors, consultants, banks, government associations, designers etc.

Your team and working environment:

• Based at the Regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa
• Around 50% travel for meetings with clients, site visits, conferences, etc. is to be expected.
