We have the opportunity for development operations engineer to support our development team

Your responsibilities

• Being a critical member of the team, responsible for the development and providing support of high-performance products or projects
• Responsible for delivering solutions that optimize operational efficiencies through continuous process improvement
• The role will require hands-on delivery of the continuous delivery pipeline including building frameworks to support automated testing, monitoring, logging, alerting etc

Your background

• A bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferable Computer Engineering/Information Technology
• 3+ years experience in a Software Engineer and or System Administration role grounded in demonstrable DevOps methods and mindset
• Continuous Integration and Delivery experience using Jenkins and Ansible etc.
• Experience in Microsoft DevOps (VSTS) would be an advantage but not necessary
• Experience using Docker containerization and container orchestration platforms, ideally with a Kubernetes based product
• Experience with cloud computing infrastructure platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure and their management
• Experience with some of the following technologies:
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Puppet, Git
• Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
