Come join Intel's Validation Engineering team as a Development Tools Software Engineer! This position is for SW Development Engineer to work on Windows/Linux/Synthetic-OS Based content generation tools, with focus on Power Management (PM) related items. You will be part of a validation engineering solutions cross site team developing high performance, high complexity tools for use in validation of SoC and IP subsystem across all of Intel's product lines.

 

Candidate will ramp up on existing SW/HW tools supported by the team to understand functionality, work with the team to support current features, and to develop the next generation capabilities with updated technology, architecture, and database constructs. Should be a quick learner on new technologies, and acquire knowledge on business processes to develop and deploy effective tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and:

• Development solutions based on IA Architecture

• Debugging and troubleshooting

• Pre/Post-Si validation environments

 

Preferred Qualifications

• C/C++, Python, and Perl with the Visual Studio .NET environment is a plus

• Software engineering design methodologies

• Define content tool strategy at system level for products supported

• Test automation and system validation tools is a plus

• Content tools enabling and debug activities
