In this role, you will provide project management, oversight, and direction for the development of a various DevOps projects. You will manage project tasks, set deadlines, and hold team members accountable. Ideally, you have experience in managing complex software development projects with deployment in AWS and other DevOps activities.

Expectations
DevOps Project Management,
Manages Projects or Programs where consistent decisions are made regarding the overall goals and objectives of significant programs or segments of the organization through all phases of the lifecycle. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders
Track deliverables, milestones, deadlines
Coordinate project logistics, details, and contracts
Establish reporting and communications with stakeholders
Automate reporting with dashboards and metrics
Establish, maintain, and manage product road map in collaboration with key stakeholders
Define product capabilities, track their development and implementation
Identify product risks and unknowns, and define and drive resolution plans.
Manage and maintain project information, including feature definition and scope
Facilitate regular stand up meetings project reviews.
Participate in individual stand ups
DevOps Administration,
Design, implement, manage, and optimize software development project management tool, such as JIRA
Work closely with developers to drive project planning and execution
Ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
5 years in a project or product management role, specifically in software development and DevOps
Deep understanding of DevOps practices and tools
Knowledge of dashboard tools like PowerBI is a MUST
Ability to development automated dashboards and metrcis
Ability to prioritize tasks and hold team members accountable
Excellent organizational and management skills
Outstanding communication abilities, written and verbal
Able to encourage and inspire a diverse group of people
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and personal commitment to results
Ability to be productive and successful without close supervision


Preferred Qualifications
Cloud DevOps expertise, particularly with AWS
Knowledge of information security principles
Knowledge of dashboarding tools like Grafana and Hygeia
