Royal Canin Vision is expanding its value proposition beyond nutrition with diagnostic, monitoring, knowledge and services so nutrition benefits more, earlier cats and dogs.
To continue to push boundaries of health nutrition this role will develop and lead the portfolio of project to support each nutritional territory with the relevant diag & monitoring propositions in line with the strategy defined. lead development & execution of portfolio and operate under the supervision of the Vet Innovation Management Director.
 

What will be your key responsabilities?

• Shape and Lead a clear vision and innovation strategy for Diagnostics & Monitoring
• Understand business, category, health trends, in the pet care and relevant human industries , synthetize broad learnings into innovation recommendation 
• Develop Ready-To-Go to the market innovation including (product and packaging) and constantly improve  product and packaging performance based on customer/ consumer complaints/ reports analysis
• Manage innovation / portfolio development project in collaboration with internal stakeholders (R&D, regulatory, scientific support, other Innovation leads…) and in full compliance with established procedures, regulation, legislation and tools.
• Lead complex/transversal projects using different technologies (digital, external manufacturing) involving internal and external stakeholders as start-ups or other business from petcare ecosystem. 
• Lead Front End Innovation projects, exploring idea to product/solution and being responsible for proof of concept prior to scale up. 
• Partner with lead markets to test global initiatives (including go-to-market activations) 
• Be a change agent in Royal Canin transformation towards integrated care offer, surfacing how to organize better tasks/ process, so diag & monitoring is a “normal” part of its innovation

What are we looking for?

• University degree (engineer,  business school) or equivalent 
• 5+ Years in innovation  (Global / Local)
• Demonstrated success in defining new value propositions that meet and exceed business objectives
• Subject Matter Expert in a particular product or market
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Leadership and interpersonal skills. Able to influence without formal authority and motivate at all levels within the business
