Job Description
Eaton’s VGNA division is currently seeking a Diamond Crib Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes facility. The Diamond Crib Technician will support in deployment of Diamond Assy Standards & Tools for Eaton’s new Aguascalientes Manufacturing site. Job duties support the creation and implementation of standards, process sustainment, and coordination of Tooling Area that will lead to improvements in factory OEE, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process abnormality. Some activities related with the position will be: Works with the Production/Quality/Manufacturing Team to implement the Diamond Arbor Best Practices. Awareness training, Participates with Tooling deployment, and owns specific Tooling/Plant Metrics. Production Compliance. Always ensuring the availability of diamond arbors by part number to run, in advance. Supporting across the organization to drive short-term and long-term business improvements. Participates in Eaton Lean System assessments and identify performance gaps and supports with improvement actions. Utilizes Lean tools to eliminate waste. Works with local Tooling Manufacturing Engineer to ensure execution of plant activities to other departments as well Organize and lead team meetings for effective task completion per the implementation work plan. Designs, and manages the control of diamonds in plant and new launches. Coordinates the Drafting process, standardization, deployment, execution and improvement of the Diamond Crib Area. 2D and 3D CAD Development. Interpretation of drawings (Blue Prints) Mechanical ability to assemble with special tools. Diamond Crib Office Responsible Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: 6 months to 1 year of related experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) Drive for results and willing to learn continuously Strong analytical skills Proficient in Power Point, Excel Ability to execute multiple activities CAD Experience Preferred Qualifications: Automotive industry experience minimum 6 months Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment capability.
