Digital Commerce Offerings, BizModel Enablement, Manager Position Overview As part of the Siemens Digital Industries Software Digital Commerce and Operations (DI-SW-CAS-DCO) organization, this position will be a key part of delivering new business model capabilities. DI-SW is expanding their digital commerce capabilities to include new product types and business models. We rely on Managers to provide technical and managerial leadership to the group of persons who define, deploy, and maintain best-in-class digital commerce business model capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Digital Commerce and Offerings (DI-SW-CAS-DCO-DC-O), the manager will define and deliver on a business model enablement roadmap that meets and exceeds Siemens business needs. Justification and Purpose of the Role: The primary functions of this role are to provide commercial and technical direction and to manage the team. This role provides commercial and technical direction to individual contributors focused on the supporting business models required by our software products. In addition, the successful candidate will provide leadership in personnel activities of staff such as hiring, compensation, training, performance reviews, etc. Duties and Responsibilities: The BizModel Enablement team will define, design, develop, deploy, maintain, and operate eCommerce capabilities that enable the sale of Siemens Digital Industries software through innovative and rapidly evolving business models. Use Siemens DI-SW-CAS best practices and product delivery and operations best practices to achieve high quality and on-time delivery compliant with Siemens commercial requirements. Responsible for ensuring the overall compliance and functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and operates commercial systems which execute transactions between Siemens DI-SW business units and their customers as well as third-party partners and customers. The successful candidate has comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and practices in broad areas of the software development. Acts as Commercial and Technical lead of projects that span multiple products. Leads and provides technical direction to all team members. Works without supervision on the most complex projects with latitude for independent judgment. Responsible for ensuring a strong, agile, scrum process-based team is formed and well managed in conjunction with the rest of the organization. Additionally, the manager will be responsible to set targets and review the performance of their direct reports, provide compensation inputs, hire new employees, ensure appropriate training, and work with their team to form a cohesive, collaborative working environment. Provide leadership to a diverse team that delivers eCommerce capabilities Design, develop, modify, and deploy innovative business model support for our software products Build platform components using state-of-the-art software and digital commerce technologies Ensure adherence to Siemens Quality standards and commercial compliance requirements Provide mentoring, career development, training, and other growth opportunities to team members   Essential Experience: Bachelors and/or Masters’ degree in Engineering, IT, computer science, engineering, business administration, (or lower qualification with relevant work experience) 10 years of software development experience. 4+ years’ experience managing developers in an agile, devops environment 4+ years’ experience working with product owners, product validation, operations, and technical publications teams as part of agile scrum 2+ years’ experience managing quality assurance 2 years of experience supervising senior engineers.
