A great position is now available in H&M Business Tech. We are currently looking for a strong leader with international senior commercial expertise to take on the role as Commercial Advisor for the Asia Hub.

About the position: 

As Commercial Advisor for the Hub your main responsibilities will be to provide senior commercial expertise and hands on support to Business Tech Asia Hub in order to deliver expected business value. You will need to support the Hub in setting the commercial strategy and partner portfolio relevant for the Hub to meet business objectives. You are accountable for maintaining partner relationship and vendor management for specific Hub partners and vendors and identify ways to optimize ongoing relationships with external partners. You will also work with Hub leads/Product leads to define and secure business case and establish relevant type of commercial model/cooperation most likely to serve the business case.

 

As a Commercial Advisor for the Hub you will identify potential deal designs to reflect deal objectives. You manage deal making processes required such as RFP, tendering crafting, time planning etc. You also will carry out deal making and secure alignment to initial deal objectives. Negotiating with external partners to secure advantageous terms​ and managing the contracts lifecycles such as extensions, renegotiations, terminations and call-offs will be your main responsibilities as well.

Qualifications

You have a strong focus and full accountability to always deliver high customer and business value. You are a strategic thinker, self-starter and a doer with an entrepreneurial mindset and “everything is possible” approach. In addition to this we see the following skills and knowledge:

•       Strong international deal making experience

•       Strong experience from deal-making in Asia,

•       Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills

•       Solid communication skills​,

•       Experienced with, and understands, a wide variety of deal structures

•       Strategic perspective and good understanding of new ways of collaboration,            partnerships and business models relevant for achieving Business Tech                    objectives

•       Fluent in Mandarin and English

This is a fulltime position with placement in Shanghai, China. You will report to the Head of Hub for the Asia Hub. You will also be part of the central Commercial team in Business Tech and be involved in Commercial capability building.  If your CV is selected the HR team in Shanghai will invite you for a phone / video call, followed by a couple of interviews at one or more of our offices.
