Digital Design Engineer
Job Description:
Ideal candidate will be responsible for digital design and verification of mixed-signal ASSPs for power IC products. This will include hardware IP integration, custom logic design, and embedded firmware development. The candidate will also work with the design team to develop digital specifications and production test plans. Other responsibilities will be to work with verification engineers to establish digital verification plans, set up the verification suites, tasks, and support completion of the plan.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Define and document
- Digital design, architecture, and verification specifications for micro-controller based and general mixed-signal systems
- Digital production test plans
- Follow industry standard digital design methodology
- Perform RTL design in Verilog and/or System Verilog
- Perform or supervise synthesis, timing analysis, and scan/ATPG as needed
- Work effectively with Place & Route engineer to define ports and close timing
- Design ICs using embedded processors and firmware (assembly, C languages)
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or oversee mixed-signal design verification including...
- Verification using UVM
- Verification using RTL, gates, and regression testing
- Analog block modelling in System Verilog using Real Number Modelling
- Advanced verification techniques such as coverage driven testing, assertions, and formal verification
Additional Job Requirements:
- MSEE with 5+ years of industry experience preferred
- Strong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills including English fluency
- Work effectively in a lab environment
- Debug using emulation with combined FPGA and analog ICs.
- Must have ability to work with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply, and have soldering skills
