Position Overview:
Analog Devices is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer for its growing Battery Monitoring System (BMS) group in Dallas, Texas. This group designs ICs to supervise High Voltage Battery Stacks in Electric Vehicles and thus drives the world toward a greener future!
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities, including, but not limited to:
- Top-level digital architecture planning, including partitioning
- Collaborate with analog engineers to define mixed-signal interfaces
- (System)Verilog HDL based digital design: verification, synthesis, simulation and static timing analysis
- Design for test, including scan insertion, test pattern generation, and fault grading
- Participate in chip and block level test planning with the DV team, help analyze the test results
- Fully document designs
- Oversee automatic cell place and route
- Collaborate with the ADI design community on best practices
- Help the physical validation team evaluate the silicon and help production test engineers integrate digital test
- Help Application Engineers support customer applications
Requirements:
- BSEE, MSEE, or PhD with 3+ years digital design experience
- Experience in digital design and implementation is a must
- Basic understanding of mixed-signal designs is a plus
- Experience in automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is a plus
- Experience in digital verification, Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM or any HVL is a plus
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python and Perl is a plus
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, good team work and communication skills
