Job Description

Come intern with one of the largest engineering companies in the world. The Digital Design Engineer Intern will be part of the team developing exciting IP for Intel FPGAs.

The areas of IP can include but are not limited to Wireless Communication Systems and Error Correction. You will collaborate with a team to explore advancements in 5G wireless, automating regressions, and use state of the art FPGA hardware.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

This internship position has a length of 12 months with the possibility to extend it as per business' needs.


Qualifications

Candidate must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications


Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.


Minimum of 3+ months experience in any of the following areas:

  • C/C++.

  • RTL or Verilog.

  • Linux.


Preferred Qualifications

  • FPGA or ASIC architecture
  • OpenCL and/or HLS
  • VHDL
  • MATLAB
  • Math, such as Matrix multiplication
  • Forward Error Correction such as Reed-Solomon, Turbo, LDPC, and Polar Codes
  • Digital Signal Processing such as filters, FFT, and wireless concepts.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
