Home Journal Limited is looking for a tenacious and talented young Digital Editor to work on Home Journal,Hong Kong’s leading interior design and home decorating magazine. Reporting to the Managing Editor, the successful candidate will generate ideas and write stories for digital and print, interview designers, source photos, help oversee home shoots and work with the design team to create beautiful layouts.

Key Responsibilities
Generate and research ideas for shoots and stories on both digital platforms and print
Produce accurate, well-written and timely content for Home Journal and all its guides and supplements
Provide administrative support including liaising with contributors and other teams within the company
Work with the design team to source striking imagery and create layouts
Sub-edit and proofread copy
Monitor website traffic to understand what works and why, and create online stories and social media posts that will drive audience growth
Act as an ambassador for the brand at industry events

Requirements
A degree in Journalism, or related disciplines
Two years of experience in English-language feature writing and/ or sub-editing on digital platforms and print
Strong writing, communication skills and be a good team player
A keen eye for detail and layouts
An unwavering ability to meet deadlines, good time management skills and a diligent outlook
Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to plan and coordinate projects
A keen interest in interior design, home decorating and luxury lifestyle
Experience with directing a photographer and stylists and managing shoots is an advantage
Location: Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
