This is a Digital Engineer role, reporting to Senior Designer in Business Area Robotics and Discrete Automation.
Your responsibilities
- Making pre-engineering design in PDPS, Robot studio, Flexsim and CAE.
- Finding out the fixture and process design mistakes such as gun, fixture, car collisions in PDPS & Robot studio simulation.
- Communicating with Fixture designer, giving constructive suggestions for fixture design- Welding point distribution and cycle time analysis.
- Welding gun silhouette design and welding gun approval which is finally designed by gun supplier.
- Giving the solutions for solving problems on site.
- Doing offline programming and following project timing.
- Working in Robot Studio, PDPS, FlexSim, CAE and for Secondary development using Visual Studio.

Your background
- Must have a degree with Engineering background.
- Preferred to have a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years working experience.
- Must have basic computer skills in using Microsoft Office with experience in AutoCAD, Visual Studio C#, 3D mechanical design and shop floor experience would be a plus.
- Preferred to have experience in robotic simulation software: PDPS & RobotStudio.
- Fluency in English communication with ability to communicate both verbally and written.
- Must be ‘open’ to new technology and ideas and have the ability to work as a team player.
