As the Digital HR Transformation Lead, you will work within Digital, Data and our People Experience team on various Global Digital HR transformation programs. The purpose of this team is to focus on enabling simplified and compelling workforce experiences for Employees and Managers, based on real-time insights and data. You will have extensive experience of deploying global HR technology programs and platforms for enabling Future of Work agenda. Additionally, in-depth experience in building robust business cases based on the current challenges of AstraZeneca’s HR digital and experience landscape, underpinned by data from multiple sources, such as; surveys, benchmark and extensive internal and external research to influence the case for change.
We encourage you to advise and influence our internal HR business partners and Global Process Owners to understand and map out how current and sophisticated digital technologies (Analytics, RPA, AI, hyper automation) can enhance critical HR processes and provide personalised, scalable, intelligent and trusted capabilities to deliver higher business value and experiences. Additional expertise and exposure in building data and analytics transformation business case is desirable.
Here you will partner closely with our Digital Council, HR global process owner network and our colleagues in the HR IT and Finance functions.
Key accountabilities
Design and deploy the assigned Digital HR Transformation Program: The role will be accountable to design and deliver HR Transformation programs; for a given process, HR domain or issue. Serve as a strong consultative partner for Global Process Owners and design the digital transformation solution in consultation with key stakeholders, IT and other teams with focus on employee experience at the centre of the solutions:
Design a futuristic digital solution and operating model for the given process using various different existing or new technologies (Workday, Service Now etc)
Drive POC and measure them against business critical metrics and Use cases
Build the community of practice through various design stages to keep them engaged into the solutioning and feedback
Build the Business Case for Transformation: Work with Global Process Owners, IT, Product owners and Finance to build robust business case for acquiring resources and funding to deliver these transformation programmes by:
Facilitate the development of cross-functional process team working on HR pain points
Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops to capture structured inputs to build the robust multi year business case based on future solution design and approach.
Obtain and analyse data and insights to build the business case, identify the current baseline, the benchmark opportunity for efficiency and impact and create golden KPI to measure the same
Drive HR Operations Simplification and Automation of Data, Reporting and Analytics
Facilitate the Data, Reporting and Analytics transformation projects to help us productize increased reports for HR Community and our Managers.
Drive the HR Operations Simplification efforts by driving key projects in partnership with People Services and COEs
Drive sophisticated global projects on Data, Reporting and Analytics to design the advanced analytics products needed by various business users
Skills & experience
The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter who is passionate about driving digital transformation through data and insights;
Experience in leading digital HR Transformation projects. Experience of mapping current capabilities, designing future roadmap and strategy to get there
Experience in building business case for transformation programs and pitching it to leadership team for prioritisation and resourcing
Experience of designing and evaluating futuristic digital solutions by combination of technology, design thinking and lean methods
Familiar with various HR technology and ecosystem of products- Workday, Service Now, Data Lake, Degreed, Learning ecosystem etc
Experience related to the implementation and management of enterprise digital HR applications/platforms
Experience in building complex macros and programs in xls, a bit of advanced xl user and pro.
Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish effective relationships and working collaboratively with our global process owners and business stakeholders
Experience of managing multiple projects/programmes in a large global organisation
Project planning, management, risk monitoring and mitigation
Ability to understand business priorities and align technology opportunities
Ability to prioritise workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
Ability to empower and set the direction for a (not direct report) team
Experience of working in a complex, global matrix organisation
Nice to have:
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Analytics, Data science, Finance , Information sciences
Experience of Microstrategy, Power BI
Solid knowledge of Digital HR Ecosystem and products like Workday, Service Now etc
Knowledge of Agile methodology of experience working in an Agile way
Knowledge of lean methodologies
Knowledge of design thinking methods and tools
