Position Overview:
The Digital Health Manager enables the transformation of the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) business to digital by working directly with different functions, customers and key stakeholders to implement to key initiatives and digital tools that will position ADC as a leader in the digital space.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for patient and HCP adoption of ADC digital health tools (LibreView and LibreLink).
- Acts as SME for ADC’s digital health tools.
- Understand ADC’s strategic vision and customer needs.
- Develops value proposition for new strategic initiatives by leading the discovery and ideation process with internal and external teams.
- Leads activities that include technical and non-technical scope definition, requirements gathering, and identification of milestones, among other activities.
- Manages commercial activities and teams as required for digital health tool releases.
- Manages reviews with privacy, cybersecurity, legal, and regulatory for new initiatives.
- Work closely with field teams (Continued Health Education, Sales, Retail) to support key implementation projects.
- Identify, develop, and drive cross functional initiatives that will accelerate the adoption of ADC’s digital tools.
- Communicates regular status updates to internal and external executives.
- Coordinate local affiliate activities and act as country point of contact with Global Digital Health team.
- Works with global teams to establish product use cases and future capabilities and priorities.
Required Education and Experience:
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of IT systems. Able to work with customers to address IT concerns related to data privacy, security, or systems requirements or architecture.
- Prior supervisory or people management experience is an asset.

- Facilitation and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to resolve conflicts and develop win-win relationships with other organizations.
- Significant leadership skills and track record of driving projects and programs (e.g. multi-site, supply chain end-to-end) to successful completion, even when operating in matrix organizations, with different support groups with potentially conflicting objectives.
- Experience with IsoTrain, Sharepoint, Microstrategy, SFDC is a strong asset.
