Position Overview We are looking for a Sales Specialist to be hired for our Digital Industries business in Athens/ Greece. Via this role, you will become the trusted advisor that will assist our field-based resources and sales channel to drive awareness, and enablement within the industrial market. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Sales Specialist is an individual contributor that would assist the sales force to pursue market-based expansion, drive awareness, consult on standards (UL, IEC), how to utilize Siemens Product master data in common engineering software tools and promote our comprehensive portfolio to the market. Your Challenge Maximize and identify market opportunities in order to win new business, by exploiting Siemens tools and software solutions. Ability to design solutions, based on Siemens portfolio offerings Experience in Automation and control products Receives and supports requests from customers creating offerings and solutions based on Digital Industries portfolio Development and promotion of subject matter “help tools” both electronic, printed, and video based Field based awareness and training for customers, partners, and channel as well as sales colleagues Coordination and collaboration with domestic and international colleagues for best practices sharing, updates, and training Research and ongoing knowledge expansion of new Digital Industries products Participate in mandatory reporting and planning sessions Up to 20% domestic travel required with possible international travel Define focus customers and develop and align sales approach. What you need to bring with you Growth Mindset: Desire to continuous learning, comfortable with ambiguity, willingness to unlearn and relearn Results/ Goals orientation and self-motivation for personal and career development within a dynamic working environment Natural curiosity to collaborate with others, grow within a team and ask questions Self-starter with aggressive energy to accomplish assigned tasks on time Ability to articulate relevant value messaging across various stakeholders Ability to simplify complex information into meaningful and useful subsets, such as codes and standards Excellent time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication abilities Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in related discipline 3+ years of strong experience in Sales Engineering/ Sales Consulting Experience in standards, e.g. UL and IEC Technical writing experience and presentation development Experience in common control panel applications Basic knowledge in Automation and Low Voltage technology Decent knowledge in low voltage technology, in particular industrial controls and circuit protection Good knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken Inclusion is our ambition!
