This role will be based out of the Nottingham office, with flexibility to work remotely, with only occasional travel within the UK to customer sites. You will be required to be on - call 1 in every 4 weeks (you will receive an on-call allowance). Change the future with us. • You will manage and support the day to day infrastructure operations of on premise and cloud-based business applications, IaaS solution and managed DCs • Ensure all cloud and on-premise solutions follow security and compliance controls • Lead and plan the day-to-day execution of infrastructure and cloud operations, policies, processes • Build and implement processes to ensure high availability and scalability • Excellent knowledge of Windows & Cisco networking, including DNS, Active Directory, Firewalls and load balancers • Lead on escalation and ensure issue prioritisation procedures are followed, and SLAs are met, ensuring excellent customer service, client retention and growth • Operate and maintain traditional IT infrastructures, cloud ecosystems, and IT services to meet needs; handle physical, virtual, and cloud data centres and connectivity solutions; oversee systems and services maintenance and security • Work with teams to identify and resolve detailed operational challenges that impact the customer experience and business results • Continuously analyse operations and find opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs • Ensuring adequate measures are in place for contingency & disaster recovery. What you need to make real what matters. • Hands-on experience with MS Windows, Cisco Routing & Switching, Checkpoint Firewall administration • Experience of delivering complete infrastructure solutions for projects including DR, capacity planning, environment strategy and hosting requirements • Experience working in a SaaS company with an on-call offering • Experience or awareness of cloud providers e.g. AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud • Knowledge of managing Infrastructure as Code in AWS and experience with PowerShell is desirable • Excellent troubleshooting ability both within expertise areas and outside i.e. ability to research for potential solutions outside area of technical expertise • Recent Cisco CCNA or similar networking certification would be beneficial • Ability to think laterally and an understanding of how technology, process, tools and people combine to provide effective customer focused support solutions • A good understanding of ITIL Service Delivery and Support disciplines and methodologies We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
