The Digital Innovation Specialist (DIS) will drive transformation in One Operations
by identifying opportunities and solutions with deep understanding of the end
users. The DIS will be familiar with the design thinking process to reveal insights
on customer solutions and surface new opportunities for innovation. This person
will work closely with Delivery, IT and Operations teams to ensure that intended
project outcomes are achieved thereby contributing to the Digital Transformation
agenda of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify process & system improvements in collaboration with the business. Crafts requirements that promotes creativity and innovation between business and project teams.
  • Support continuous learning and experimentation through design thinking process. This can take the form of using the latest design and technology approach, benchmarked with industry standards, to derive solutions that supplements user/customer behavior.
  • Convey the requirements and insights to business and delivery teams to enable new projects and quick wins. Support the implementation of solutions from conception to initiation by managing stakeholders and engaging in all key business analysis tasks prior to implementation.
  • Lead initiatives by outcomes, drive change with agility and ensure smooth roll-out and customer adoption. This can be done through regular quick alignment meetings, creation of supporting documents due to the change and facilitation of trainings to end users.
  • Facilitate workshops that help stakeholders identify opportunities for innovation. Promote human-centered design principles, continuous innovation and foster growth mindset.
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions Delivery Teams and deliver value with efficiency and relevance to the business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Technical Skills - Basic Project Management or Business Analysis understanding. Advanced knowledge on MS Office Applications such as Excel, Access and Powerpoint. Expertise on VBA, SQL and other process automation tools Familiarity on Design Thinking and Agile is preferred
  • Soft Skills - Outside of the box thinking, teamwork and self-organization. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer service focus. Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and satisfy customer needs
  • Product, Process and System Knowledge - Ability to appreciate insurance products and its value to customers. Ability to understand business processes and identify pain points. Business logic to translate customer needs to workable requirements
  • Creative problem solver, capable to push the design and share with customers and stakeholders. Ability to challenge traditional ways of working.
  • Nice to Have Skills: Experience in Agile delivery or a background in Agile.
