Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager will be primarily focused on developing & executing the Digital Marketing strategy for all AZ promoted brands. The Digital Marketing Lead will be responsible for a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to HCP and Patient Marketing through digital platforms.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the market and competitive landscape and support the company in the identification of new market opportunities through digital, in line with brand strategy
- Contribute to the development of marketing digital promotional materials aligned with brand strategy
- Identify actionable brand insights that help shape brand strategy and direction through digital solutions
- Support and build collaborative relationships with the cross functional teams (marketing, sales, market access, IT & medical)
- Research trends, platforms, and experiences that can drive innovation and performance
- Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign’s performance
- Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability
- Manage art and copywriting professionals (outsourcing where needed)
- Analyze key metrics that unit our website traffic and our service quotas
- Partner with advertising and media specialists to increase marketing results
- Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures
- Communicate with our SMT about digital marketing goals and results
- Participate in all brand planning and budget meetings and assist in development of brand planning deliverables
- Manage brand budget to ensure maximum ROI for investments, and that annual budgets are not exceeded
Minimum Criteria & Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years pharmaceutical/biotech sales/marketing experience or related experience IS REQUIRED
- Proven skills in the following: brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, marketing program development, project management and execution, financial and budget management experience required
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail
- Have exceptional, oral and written communication skills, and be well versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
- Passion for building brands with strategies and tactics that deliver on our customer’s needs.
- Strong analytical, project management, fiscal management, decision making & problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment without losing focus on business goals.
- Strong and dependable leader who builds trust with management and across all stakeholders and cross functional groups including sales, sales training, and managed care teams.
- Transparent, ethical, and honest, and help foster a culture of the same within their team.
- Ability to work in virtual highly matrixed teams with high performance and cross functionality.
