Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist at our Shanghai facility.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will develop, implement, track and optimize our marketing strategy focusing on the China region to strengthen the company’s brand, market share, visibility, leverage our value proposition, and thrive against competitors. The specialist will work directly with both China Sales and the Global Marketing group to drive sales initiatives through both online and offline marketing tools adapted for regional implementation.

The Successful Candidate will:

Ø Develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing strategy across all digital channels – Building the Rochester Electronics Brand in China

Ø Recommend, plan, and execute all marketing campaigns from SEO/SEM, automated marketing, email, social media and display advertising campaigns regionally.

Ø Responsible for brand uniformity, content production and delivery across all offline and online platforms.

Ø In conjunction with the Director, Global Marketing, define and execute a digital marketing roadmap to significantly increase Rochester’s regional visibility and presence.

Ø Continually seeking new and creative ways of efficiently maximizing appropriate and relevant content for the China market.

Ø Demonstrates vision, passion, commitment, integrity, transparency, ownership and the ability to work independently.


Job Requirements:

Ø Develop, execute, track and optimize online and offline marketing initiatives within China, working closely with Rochester Global marketing team and regional partners.

Ø Responsible for all regional planning, execution and reporting of campaigns.

Ø Responsible for regional brand uniformity across all strategic marketing platforms including (but not limited to), website(s), social media accounts, partner and supplier sites, as well as third party listings.

Ø Manage, maintain and grow a robust GDPR compliant regional customer contact database.

Ø Leverage marketing and analytics tools to evaluate emerging trends, insights and technologies. Recommend programs, tools and new concepts for adoption where appropriate.

Ø Support sales in meeting and exceeding budgeted revenue targets while providing first class service to colleagues, distributors, customers and suppliers.

Ø Independently maintains and supports regional web site(s), social media accounts and Google AdWords’ account(s).

Ø Additional responsibilities include event and vendor management.



Required Background/Education:

Ø Clearly demonstrates the aptitude and acumen of a high performing contributor with visible measurable results from previous efforts.

Ø BS/MS degree in marketing, business, communications or related field appropriate alternate/equivalent based on Education in country of origin.

Ø Proven work experience in digital marketing including vendor and relationship management.

Ø Demonstrable hands-on experience managing SEO/SEM, automated marketing (HubSpot preferred), email, social media, Google AdWords (certification preferred), Google Analytics and successful regional implementation of global campaigns.

Ø Marketing skills, the ability to create and deliver compelling messages targeting customers and prospects to achieve the desired result.

Ø Experience in content/copywriting (press releases, presentations, collateral).

Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with self-initiation and minimal instruction.

Ø Problem solver with strong analytical skills.

Ø Self-starter, self-motivated and works independently to drive outcome that exceeds expectation.

Ø Strong computer skills Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot and digital asset management system.

Ø Exhibits detailed knowledge of SEO, SEM (Google Adwords required), web analytics (Google Analytics/HubSpot preferred), marketing automation (HubSpot preferred) and digital asset management platform (Widen preferred).

Ø Builds strong and successful relationships, effectively supporting and influencing colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers and members of the global team.
