Job Description

To support Head of Media and Digital in data-driven marketing for Heineken and other brands. To analysis and transform media and marketing data into insight to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing communication. Help to manage daily media request from brand teams and ecommerce team.

Major tasks

  • Co-work with brand team for digital media planning, and execution;
  • Work with Head of Media and Digital to drive the data-driven marketing for Heineken China;
  • Work with media agency to develop media plan to achieve marketing objectives;
  • Work with major media platforms to create new innovation riding on Heineken media strategy, also driving penetration through offline / online environment, i.e. Tmall flagship;
  • Manage media budget, contract, and invoicing for monthly accuracy.

The most important tasks involving direction and control of others are:


1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


o Experience and good understanding on major digital media platforms including OTV, App, Social, Ecommerce,etc.

o Define the role of Digital media within the overall campaign

o Understand target audience(s)’s digital media consumption in order to identify the most relevant touch points

o Completely understanding of DSP, DMP and trading desk in the digital world.

o Ensure all digital choices do match and complement offline choices as well as creative requirements

o Good creative sense on what works on social network and own platform;

o Excellent project management skills and multi-tasking

o Still well functional and rational thinking even under high workload

o First class negotiation skills

o Offline / traditional media experience is a bonus


2. Education and Experience


o University education, Marketing, Communication; Digital/Mobile Technology know-how is a big plus

o 5-7 years of media experience, with at least 3 years of digital marketing related experience.

o Deep understanding and insight on digital dynamic in China market.

o Excellence in Execution. Attention to detail and accuracy for project execution. Get things done.

o Experience in managing online marketing vendors i.e. media agency, creative agency and etc.

o Excellent analytical skills.

o Good communication and partnership mindset.

o Marketing experience in an in-house position is preferred.
