Role Highlights & Background
In line with Demand of the Future, the role of Brand & PO Director has been set-up reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director Europe. A team of 5 direct reports report into the Brand & PO Director. The Digital Media manager is part of the Brand & PO team and reports therefore also directly to the Brand & Pet Owner Director Europe.
The Digital Media manager plays a critical role in maximizing relevant pet owner reach to build Royal Canin brand equity through paid media in digital channels. You will work with the Global team, the agencies and the markets to cover the end-to-end process of planning, deploying and will measure the effectiveness to improve as we go with our media campaigns ensuring (Global) content.
Within the regional team close collaboration with the Brand Experience manager, the Data manager, the POX manager and e.g. also the D2C manager driving a seamless Royal Canin brand experience.
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing paid digital media in line with brand strategy
- Solid understanding of SEO
- Experience with Googly Analytics and/or similar analysis tools
- Experience in managing agency relationships
- Budget ownership
- Test & Learn mindset
- Analytical skills, turning data into actionable insights
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Define, deploy and measure the 1-to-many regional comms and digital media strategy
- Ensure alignment with the pet owner journey and demand activation plans to create a seamless brand experience
- Oversee the A&P budgets of the markets to ensure effective ROI according to Global principles
- Build and improve the HUB as the heart of Royal Canin to create a best in class brand experience for pet owners
- Define HUB & content agenda and KPI’s in close collaboration with the Global team and our agencies identifying regional needs
- Lead HUB services implementation and optimization process
- Management and development of agency relationships
- Track and optimize the HUB performance in Google Analytics, improve organic rankings and site performance, define where traffic from assets lead
