We currently have an opportunity within our Amgen Canada Inc (ACI) Digital Development Team/Department.

You will play a key role in supplying to the design and implementation of our omnichannel customer engagement strategy for Amgen Canada, with emphasis on owning the management of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation platforms.

This role will have a primary focus on internal-facing customer engagement solutions and working collaboratively with local business partners (IS, Commercial, Medical, Value & Access, Patient Support, Legal & Compliance) and with Global/Regional counterparts on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within pharma/biotech (either within industry or as vendor-partner) and will have direct knowledge and experience with CRM Platforms (i.e. Veeva-Align), Digital Analytics Platforms (i.e. Tableau) and/or Marketing Automation Platforms (i.e. Sales Force Marketing Cloud).

The role will require an individual with keen business sense when it comes engaging Field and Head-Office Leadership and collaborating within the broader Digital Team to drive more coordinated, automated and personalized customer engagements in alignment with local needs and regulations.

Basic Qualifications

  • University Degree

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Outstanding project and time management skills

  • Strategic thinking and execution skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Self-starter and ability to lead/influence with little direct supervision

  • Outstanding ethics and integrity and comfort operating in a highly regulated environment
     

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry

  • Experience using CRM (Veeva/Align) & Marketing Automation Platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience using Tableau and/or other digital platforms to build data/insights reports

  • Knowledge and experience developing and implementing multi-channel/omni-channel campaigns

  • Strong understanding of secondary data sources (e.g. IQVIA) and handling vendor contracts

  • Ability to engage and have influence with Senior Leadership (locally and globally)

  • Experience leading people and/or teams
