#### Position Description:
Lenovo is looking for an experienced and passionate Digital Product Manager
for Lenovo World Wide Digital & Solutions Services (DSS). Reporting to Digital
Innovation Leader, this position shall ensure that Lenovo’s products addresses
market needs and offers unique value proposition that increases Lenovo’s
competitive advantage. Working closely with the development team, the Digital
Product Manager is a lead contributor in creating and end-2-end managing of
world class digital products, with user experience that is worthy of the
Lenovo brand.
Responsibilities:
• • Articulate market needs, pain points, then define how Lenovo may offer
solutions to such problem statements, and positioning Lenovo to offer unique
value propositions
• Identify target market and customer segments, and define Total Addressable
Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) and revenue opportunities
in key markets
• Be the voice of the market to DSS Innovation & Development team, through
research about competition and ecosystem, and analysis of customer/user
feedback
• Work with the Development team to define product roadmaps, leading to
regular product release, and systematically transform any Minimal Viable
Products (MVP) into a run-rate business
• Participate in ideation and technology POC led by DSS Innovation team, or
Lenovo’s R&D lab, and jointly evaluate the outcomes, as well as feasibility of
productizing such new concepts or technologies
• Provide Product Requirements, Specifications & User Stories
• Participate and contribute in the process of UX design, as well as user
research, prototyping, and usability testing
• Develop product business case and tracking business viability of products
• Define business model and pricing strategy
• Define discounting policies & empowerment structure
• Map out key strategic partners/suppliers in industry value chain, and
structure collaboration model, as well as to negotiate contracts with such
partners
• Support with GTM teams for market communications, key market rollouts and
account planning activities.
#### Position Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related fields
• 3+ years of experience managing waterfall-based projects
• 3+ years of practical experience in being a Scrum Master for a software
development team that diligently applies the Agile/Scrum principles.
• Sound foundation in Scrum knowledge & practices.
• Able to work with, and manage distributed scrum teams
• Has experience in either participating in or running “Scrum-of-Scrums”
• Strong knowledge in waterfall project management, and is able to guide scrum
team in collaborating with other teams that may apply waterfall methodology
instead of scrum.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large scale
software platform solutions
• 5+ years of experience related to IoT, Internet, Cloud, Web and/or Mobile
technologies
• Excellent understanding in DevOps, CI/CD and build automations
• Strong knowledge test automation and SCM tools
• Resilient and motivated individual with excellent time management &
organizational skills
• Has great EQ, and is able to encourage and motivate team members from coming
from different cultures and experience level
• Strong proficiency in spoken & written English; bi-lingual abilities,
especially in Mandarin, is a huge plus
• Knowledge in web and app technologies, and understand the impacts of front-
end technologies to the feasibility of design
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in reviewing data to obtain insights for design improvement, as
well as in giving and receiving feedback
• Skilled at handling multiple projects, and committed to meet timelines
• Proficient in spoken & written English; bi-lingual abilities, especially in
Mandarin, is a huge plus
