Website Content Manager (Brand Sites & D2C), Slough

They key purpose of this role is to lead and define our brand website and D2C approach and roll-out across MW Europe in a consistent, coherent and compliant manner. This role will sit within the European Brand and Content Team and will work In partnership with our Content Hub to determine the role of and manage the content on our owned digital properties.
Key focus of this role is leading the seamless execution of our digital properties ambitions. They will work closely with the European Brand and Content Team to drive the onsite content agenda, the Dcomm CoA to drive our D2C agenda and the Content Hub to ensure the creation of fit fur purpose digital content. This role will need to educate the region on how we better leverage and activate websites & SEO in our business to create truly omni channel brand experiences. Today Social and SEO are both underleveraged parts of our business.
In addition this role will further the opportunity in our D2C business and lead the understanding on the impact search can have on reach and driving consumers to purchase in partnership with the Digital Marketing and onsite SEO Manager.
What are we looking for?
- You will have proven experience in relevant marketing role where delivering web content/ SEO / social was a key part of the role
- You’ll be able to demonstrate digital communication specialization with understanding and managing end to end platform experiences
- You will have the ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities
- You’ll be a communicator at the core –across multiple platforms, influencing across the business and with external partners
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Accountable for consistency, coherence and compliance of Mars owned digital properties (websites) within the region.
- Responsible for creating our foundation brand owned website presence across the region.
- Responsible for driving the creation of our owned D2C brand properties.
- Leverages our digital properties and improve the relevance and effectiveness of them in support of our overarching brand and content strategy.
- Brief Content Hub on creation of fit for purpose web content.
- Ensure owned properties align to our brand content digital demand, SEO and social goals and are managed with the consumer journey in mind.
- Executes site content updates.
- Monitor and report on performance and value creation of our digital properties. Share performance data with DA&I team.
- Measure, Track and Share learnings across both Social & SEO test and learns and campaigns
- Liaises with the SEO Manager to ensure customer journey cohesion and content driving our keyword strategy.
