Reports to: Head of Digital Sales
Indirectly reports to: GM Sales and Distribution, HKG and GBA
Purpose
The Digital sales Manager will support the formulation of digital sales and channel proposition strategy and its execution. He/She is accountable for the global sales target and acts as a key interface with sales offices and headquarter business units to enrich online fare products and offerings.
The role will review current campaign performance measurement metrics and mechanism, and facilitate best practice sharing and application among global sales offices. In addition, he/she will engage with external partners to drive commercial and strategic value.
Key Responsibilities and task
- Support Head of Digital sales to formulate digital sales strategy and perform execution
- Enrich product offering catalogue for digital channel
- Consolidate platform development requests from sales offices and prioritize with DGT platform and CED Digital against roadmaps
- Roll out key tools across sales offices to enable increased digital sales capability
- Work with sales offices and headquarter business units to deliver an omni channel experience for customer across sales and service through Marketing Cloud
- Participate in partnership discussion to drive commercial value and extend reach of new customers
- Drive overall digital sales performance of sales offices by working with DGT Analytics team to create end-to-end funnel management performance analytics
- Set up a mechanism for campaign outcome review with sales offices by using end-to-end analytics as feedback loop to drive ROI improvement
- Instil best practice in campaign formulation and ensure platform for best practice sharing among sales offices is in place
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, encouraging effective collaboration and identifying learning opportunities to ensure appropriate training and development
Qualification/Experience
- University degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience in digital sales & distribution or eCommerce. Experience with airline or hospitality industry a definite advantage
- Experience in sales strategy formulation and corporate change management
- Strong in Google Analytics and other digital sales tool
- Excellent commercial acumen and possess an analytical mind-set
- Ability to build trust, influence, and promote collaboration among a wide range of stakeholders
