Join our Large Drives Application as a Sales Service Specialist and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow. Siemens Large Drives Applications is looking to hire a Digital Service Sales Specialist for our UK Digital Services Hub. This appointee will actively work with UK and other regions’ Dedicated Sales teams to connect assets for digitally enabled services, remote condition monitoring services and data-based services using our SIDRIVE IQ digital platform for drive systems. Digital Service Sales Specialist has a passion to add value to our customers, combining our traditional capabilities with our SIDRIVE IQ based digitally enabled services - to increase plant availability, reliability, and enhance productivity. This individual will use their experience and expertise to help customers develop and implement digitally enabled services for asset management of their drive systems across their fleet locally and globally. The role location is flexible, however there will be a requirement to travel to our Manchester HQ office. Change the future with us. • Actively work with Dedicated Sales to review their customers and pipeline to create opportunities for SIDRIVE IQ. • Increase the number of UK connected assets for SIDRIVE IQ each year. • Prepare and give presentations, webinars and seminars on the benefits of Siemens remote digital services –virtually and face-to-face. Travel to customer sites within UK will be required. • Promotion of Siemens digitally enabled services to UK customers and by virtual means to customers in other regions worldwide. • Design, specification and quotation of digital solutions, systems and services for drivetrain applications within UK and other regions. • Work with regional Dedicated Sales teams and regional Service Sales Specialists to win orders which include connected services. • Provide expert consultation throughout the full lifecycle of customer digitalisation projects. • Work as a product sales specialist for condition monitoring solutions of drives and motor applications using SIDRIVE IQ and other standard Siemens CMS solutions. • Work as part of the UK Digital Hub team to develop and grow the business. What you need to make real what matters. · • HNC or above in Electrical Electronic Engineering or Information Technology. • Extensive experience working in a technical sales or service role for Drives, Motors, or other rotating equipment applications. • Experience in, or understanding of, industrial automation process using PLC and control networks. • Ability to translate technical issues to business opportunities with added value for the customer. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in-person or through virtual means across all levels in the organisation and though virtual means with colleagues and customers from different countries. • Digital literacy required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
