Job Description

THE GIG
The incumbent is responsible for managing digital, social content strategy, planning and execution of successful digital and social media campaigns. Key missions are to increase brand awareness and audience engagement across a range of social platforms and be able to report on the effectiveness of your activity. You will leverage experience in digital marketing and social media and be comfortable leading your own projects. Success is measured by your ability to build brand awareness, deepen customer engagement, acquire customers/users, hit growth and ROI.

 THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Drive brand digital and social strategy for Greater China region in line with brand strategies and business objectives to maximize awareness and share of voice, build brand equity and strengthen positioning. 
  • Lead creation and communication for social content in engaging and high-quality way, manage influencer campaigns and community engagement; implement consumer engagement & UGC initiatives, development of comprehensive storylines and presentations
  • Develop Greater China social marketing plan with the aim to grow brand awareness and fuel the ecommerce momentum based on data-driven analyzes and brand strategies to achieve business priorities
  • Implement winning brand and digital strategy with the integration of the consumer funnel from awareness to loyalty via digital consumer activation and initiatives
  • Initiate social CRM activities in the areas of data analytics, outbound marketing program and other social initiatives on different platform such as WeChat mini program.
  • Analyze customer database for formulating, driving and delivering creative on data-driven CRM marketing activities
  • Conduct customer analytics including behavior reporting and post-campaign analytics to enhance future CRM campaigns, and translate the customer data into consumer insights and actions
  • Initiate Greater China digital marketing campaigns and supervise the implementation
  • Lead social listening and performance tracking reporting across agencies and platforms to provide learning, optimization plan, and identify the right balance of channel type and frequency to increase success
  • Develop and execute synergies between online and offline marketing events and ensure seamless digital integration between social communities among various channels and E-Commerce eco-system
  • Monitor latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how DM can best leverage new tools and services to support digital branding and E-Commerce growth

YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES 

  • Degree in Marketing/ Communications / Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of solid experience in managing digital marketing and social media in apparel / fashion retail industry, experience in global brand business environment preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Greater China social media and E-commerce platforms including WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Douyin, Baidu, Tmall, IG, FB and Youtube, social CRM management, digital ecosystem and landscape, and social media campaign lifecycle
  • Passionate about telling relevant and meaningful stories that engage Greater China audience
  • Omni-channel experience, analytical mindset and digital skills are required
  • Proven experience in planning and managing social media and influencer campaigns and CRM
  • Proven ability to shift through data, identify critical information and execute fast
  • A team player with traits like integrity, diligence, independent thinking, detail-minded 
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship building, stakeholder management/client service, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
