Position Summary:

DCW is seeking a Digital Twin specialist based in Italy. This role is hybrid and would require on-site visits to customer locations as needed.

The candidate will join some of the most innovative and passionate people in the industry who want to make a difference in the digital construction space and work on the major advanced construction projects in the global scenario.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

• Responsible for coordination, implementation, and services to support clients with the development of infrastructure and building digital twins.
• Delivering the expertise for developing a Digital Twin/BIM project, acting as a technical and functional focal point for their own areas of expertise, and coordinating customers' internal digital processes.
• Working across a range of complex and simple projects and implementing new and exciting solutions that enhance the Digital Twin environment.
• Leading the discovery, capture, and documentation of client needs.
• Taking ownership of client needs throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure that these needs are met.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Degree in engineering with specialisation in civil, construction, mechanical or equivalent working industry experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience as a BIM/Digital Twin specialist.
• Experience, but not exclusive to road construction, rail engineering/construction, project planner, or site manager. 
• Ability to generate/maintain a 4D construction sequence, undertake modeling directly when required, and collaborate to estimate, plan, and track the project.
• Precision in carrying out the assigned tasks and the propensity to work with high-quality standards.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
• Curiosity and good critical ability.

 

Technical and Functional Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge of BIM methodology.
• Knowledge of 4D planning and scheduling concepts using SYNCHRO.
• An understanding of iModel and iTwin technology stack.
• Experience with survey and machine-control-related software and processes.
• Passionate about research and innovation, eager to identify and invent new technological solutions.
