DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
In order to support its development, MADJOR is looking for a senior digital strategy manager. Working with the MADJOR director, with a strong passion for digital and expertise in digital brand strategy, social content optimization. And you will be in charge of owning MADJOR's product offering and defining key orientations for business development and new product development, leading digital strategy and communication projects, ensuring that deliverables conform to MADJOR's vision of foresight, client-side impact and intellectual innovation, managing and growing the MADJOR consulting team.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Thought Leadership:
- Oversee MADJOR's suite of products including deliverables, methodologies and frameworks
- Based on market demands and client feedback, constantly fine tune existing products and initiate development of new products when relevant
- Develop content for MADJOR and Labbrand's publications that demonstrate our thought on key topics of relevance to our clients
- Act as an internal thought leader, promoting strategic thinking within the entire MADJOR team through knowledge sharing
Client Engagement:
- Support department director and business development team in expanding client base
- Support account management team in developing existing accounts
- Lead the development of proposals that serve client needs and maximize MADJOR profit
- Act as ambassador for MADJOR's strategic thinking, providing clients reasons to reach out to MADJOR as a partner for their digital needs
Project Excellence:
- Lead a variety of digital strategy & communication projects
- Be responsible for execution and ensure quality of outputs in terms of innovativeness, relevancy to client and clarity
- Shape and drive end-to-end digital transformations across business, technology, process and people, creating value by reinventing the core of our client's businesses.
Team Development:
- Guide team to learn new knowledge and techniques.
- Coach the team, conduct performance evaluation and improve the quality of team members on a regular basis.

REQUESTED COMPETENCIES
General:
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams with business, creative and technical stakeholders
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong writing skills
- Fluent English and Chinese. Different language combinations will be considered based on overall applicant profile
- Capable of independent thinking and of providing fresh, personal perspective on key topics linked to digital innovation and transformation
- Effective communicator towards both clients and team members
Position Specific Competencies:
- Track record of leadership on digital strategy and communication projects
- The ideal applicant has had exposure to a wide range of disciplines through past project experience including digital brand strategy, communication strategy, social content optimization
Education and Work experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience at an agency-side strategy position
- A technology background is not required but working understanding of key technical platforms (esp. e-commerce, CRM and Wechat) is a plus
