Data is key to predicting and shaping the future. HKRU is looking for an Analyst, Data Scientist with a strong business sense who has a passion for getting to the bottom of challenges to ensure that we are making good use of the data collected from our digital platforms, hence empowering us to make better tactical and strategic decisions across the organization.

Specific responsibilities

• Perform statistical analyses and provide insightful comments for business questions from senior management
• Prepare discussion papers and documents based on investigations and analysis
• Constantly look for ways to improve HKRU’s ability to collect better quality data, improving the % of commercialize data points
• Develop KPI dashboards, on engagement and player retention, by using the KPMG research as a base, within and across sectors
• Work closely with key stakeholders to promote data management best practices

Your profile

• Degree in Statistics, Data or Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related disciplines
• Prior working experience in data analysis, modelling or operational research of 2 years minimum
• Experience in Salesforce analytics and other CRM platforms beneficial but not necessary
• Excellent understand of digital landscape
• People person, ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with multiple teams
• Good business acumen, to make data backed recommendations to the team
• Advanced excel capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
