What are my responsibilities? Programming software modules, applications and APIs using Siemens PLM software packages ( NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, Tecnomatix) Interfacing with 1D / 3D software tools and CAD-systems through APIs to develop digital-twin applications representing real-life products and production systems Identifying, creating, prototyping and demonstrating new and leading-edge methods for digital twins in a cloud-based IoT environment. Consulting and support on the development and realization of software prototypes for diverse industrial customer’s needs. Communicating complex solutions in a clear and understandable way to both experts and non-experts Producing high quality and innovative deliverables for our development teams and customers Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines What do I need to qualify for this job? Required Skills BSc/MSc in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Sciences, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or in a related discipline Hands-on programming experience and ability to quickly prototype in one of the following programming languages ; C#.Net, C++, Python or Java. Experience in 3D Modelling, Graphic Programming Experience in 3D software libraries, interfaces and API Programming Very good command of English Desired Skills Knowledge and experience in programming with NXOpen API or Tecnomatix API or TeamCenter API Knowledge and experience in 1D / 3D simulation and modeling tools and systems Experience in Game Programming Platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine or similar platforms) Knowledge and experience in Siemens PLM portfolio (NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, Tecnomatix) Knowledge and experience in 3D Rendering and Visualisation Platforms (i.e. NVIDIA Omniverse ) Experience in Mechatronics Concept Design, dynamic modeling of mechanical systems, Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) software setups, is preferred Knowledge in automation technology, digital twin and PLM ( product lifecycle management) solutions Strong problem solving and analytical skills “At Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
