Job Description
Siemens Healthineers has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Digitalisation Project Intern to join our inclusive and thriving team. We are currently looking to revolutionise our manufacturing operations with Industry 4.0 standards of connectivity and automation, digitalise existing business processes and empower our end users with data collection and analytics tools. Across a 12-month placement you will help manage and track projects, create and support solutions developed with Microsoft 365 technologies and have the opportunity to become a visible and vocal proponent of digital transformation. This full-time digitalisation project internship is based in Oxfordshire and offers an excellent internship salary and the chance to join a positive and diverse workplace culture. Siemens Magnet Technology in Oxfordshire is the world’s top designer and manufacturer of superconducting magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) magnets for medical applications. As a Digitalisation Project Intern, you will work with our Digitalisation team for 12 months, ideally starting in Summer 2023. You will: Provide valuable input to innovative projects across the business which have a real impact on our future Help manage and track project requirements and actions with our Digital Project Managers Learn to use Microsoft 365 technologies such as PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI and utilise them in improving business processes Potentially work with SQL Server and programming languages such as Python for more complex data aggregation and analysis Support our transformation into a digital business in a myriad of other ways To apply for this Digitalisation Project Intern role, you will need to be currently studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related discipline. You will also need to be a creative thinker and problem solver and have the ability to adapt to a busy organisation.
