Job Description
Job Summary The Tax Analyst LATAM Direct Tax COE will be responsible for direct tax reporting of the Mexico businesses. In addition, this role will assist the supervisor LATAM Direct Tax COE to integrate the direct tax filing responsibilities for the Spanish-speaking LATAM countries. The Tax Analyst LATAM Direct Tax COE is the first contact, the Tax Analyst will complete compliance accurately and efficiently, continually improve processes and supporting the operations. Job Responsibilities Prepare compliance package for the fiscal year, including but not limited to income tax returns, provisional payments, ISSIF, informative returns and other filings to be in compliance with the Mexican government for the Mexican legal entities and some of the Spanish–speaking LATAM countries. Assist with Transfer Pricing documentation to ensure appropriate transfer prices are maintained Prepare Income Tax Deferred calculations Support tax projects, such as changes due to Tax reforms, Fixed Assets, Tax Incentives Attend and respond to any Authority Requests regarding Direct Tax for the Mexican and other Spanish-speaking legal entities Carry out responsibilities and activities aligned with the values of the company and promote collaboration within the Direct Tax Team Create strong relationships across all businesses Promote a continuous improvement environment Qualifications Education level required CPA or comparable qualification Years and area of experience required At least 2 Technical knowledge Excellent technical understanding of the Mexican Tax Laws and Regulations (and LATAM Law desirable) Soft skills Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others (peers, superiors, Plant´s personal) in a dynamic environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
